Configuring an iOS Management Profile
Configuring a management profile is essential for applying security and management policies to iOS devices. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Step 1: Create an Entity
- Go to the Top Menu.
- Navigate to Operation > Entities.
- Click Add, enter a name for the entity, and configure the initial settings as needed.
Step 2: Assign a Configuration Policy to the Entity
After creating the entity, assign a configuration policy to it. This allows management controls to be applied directly to the device's operating system by leveraging Apple's built-in management capabilities.
To create a policy:
- Go to the Top Menu.
- Navigate to Operation > Policies and select the Apple tab.
- Click Add, select the corresponding entity, and configure the required settings.
Important Notes
- Some settings require a minimum iOS version.
- Certain features are only available in Supervised mode.
- To check these requirements, hover over the information (i) icon next to each setting.
