Step 1: Create an Entity
- Go to the Top Menu.
- Navigate to Operation > Entities.
- Click Add, enter a name for the entity, and configure the initial settings as needed.
Note: The settings applied to the entity affect only the Urmobo application, which typically functions as the device's launcher.
To apply restrictions and configurations directly to the Android operating system, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Assign a Configuration Policy to the Entity
After creating the entity, assign a configuration policy to it. This allows you to manage the device at the operating system level using the management features provided by Google.
To create the policy:
- Go to the Top Menu.
- Navigate to Operation > Policies.
- Click Add, select the corresponding entity, and configure all the required settings.
Important Notes
Many policy settings require a minimum Android version. To verify these requirements, hover over the question mark (?) icon next to the name of each setting.
