Samsung SmartSwitch is a very useful app for migrating data from one Samsung phone to another.
However, when using Android Enterprise, SmartSwitch is disabled by default. To make it work properly, it is necessary to enable its use in the policy.
To do this, first access the policy to which the device is assigned and add the SmartSwitch app for installation.
Next, go to the managed configuration of SmartSwitch by clicking the settings icon in the app list of the policy, as shown in the image below.
Next, assign a name to the managed configuration and enable the permission to use SmartSwitch, as shown in the image below.
Finally, save the managed configuration — being careful not to confuse this button with the one to save the policy — and then save the policy to apply the changes.
