For security reasons, Android uses randomized MAC addresses when connecting to Wi-Fi networks.
However, in some situations it is necessary to know the device’s real MAC address in order to perform actions such as allowing access through the connected network’s firewall.
Therefore, it is important to have the option to disable MAC randomization directly through the management console.
When adding a Wi-Fi network in the policy, you can choose whether MAC randomization should remain enabled or be disabled, as shown in the image below.
However, this feature is only available on devices running Android 13 or higher and does not work on devices with earlier versions of the operating system.
